Katie Rouse is a writer who took a long time to call herself a writer. A marketing manager from 9-5 and freelancer on the side, she writes in the margins, exploring her faith, doubt, deconstruction, and spiritual practice in real life, after years of disillusion on the mission field in India. She irregularly blogs, emails a fresh poem to subscribers most Wednesdays, and posts mini-blogs on Instagram a few times a week.
Katie is currently exploring ways to publish her writing outside of social media, and she is working on her first book, detailing her story of calling to India & deconstruction as an ex-missionary. She lives in Nashville,TN, with her husband, Chris, and their slightly grumpy-face cat, Simmer.
